To get the most out of this book, you will want to read the entire
Carolina Cousins series. It was a wonderful series, historical
fiction at its best, giving you a realistic view of what it was like to
live in the south during the Civil War and the reconstruction period.
I believe that this will be the final book in the series as the author
seemed to wrap up all loose ends. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
