With our youngest and oldest moving out of the home this past year,
it was with great anticipation that I picked up Letting them Go
by author Dave Veerman. I was glad I did. This is a solid book,
full of practical information for parents trying to strike a difficult
balance between loving their adult child and letting them go to make
their own choices. It's most applicable and helpful to
Christian parents who have college-bound high school students, so I wish
I had this book last year!
The author uses quotes from parents and other writers as well and the
book is arranged in short segments that give good information without
having to read long sections of text.
If you are in this stage of life, this book was well worth the read.
