I think this is a wonderful book for women in
mid-life. I read through it in no time. My two boys (22
& 18) just moved out together into their own apartment and, to my
surprise, I've been having a difficult time dealing with the change.
I never thought I'd feel the loss of my boys moving out this
intensely.
When You're Facing the Empty Nest was just what the doctor
ordered! This book had excellent advice and encouragement for
moms facing an empty nest. It gives a positive perspective on
this phase of life, helping you look at this season as your greatest
adventure yet! One of the best parts of the book were her
Midlife Glimpses where MaryAnn shares short stories of others who
have faced the empty next. It gives you a glimpse into the struggles
and successes of like women.
