Author John Eldredge is maverick in Christian living literature. He tends to speak his mind, which may not be the mind of the current status quo. I like that about him. In this book, Eldredge gives you a glimpse into his life and walk with God. He's a great storyteller and this book is easy to read as he teaches you from his own life experience how to achieve a deeper intimacy with God. In this book the author also delves into the controversial topic of Spiritual Warfare. He gives a unique perspective that, if nothing else, will make you think.
