I hadn't realized that this book is a true historical novel, based on
a real person from history. Cindy Thompson has taken every bit of
research and woven it a credible, exciting story in a way I never would
have thought! She does an amazing job of bringing Brigid and ancient
Ireland to life as she portrays the life of a young woman struggling
with her own past as well as preparing for a future in serving her God.
It was an excellent read.
