Though these novellas were not really spellbinders, they were just what they were intended to be, smaltzy love stories set in the Christmas season.  If you are looking for deep meaning, thought provoking reading, these books aren't for you.  However, if you are looking for an easy, holiday read with the inevitable "happy ending", you will like this book.
