When You start this book you think how pitiful this woman is. To
have to have a man to feel fulfilled. As you get further you kind of
envy her boldness. When you get even further, you admire some of the
things she does that makes your skin crawl. I took it to bed with me
and had a restles night because of the things she did. some women
are moe daring than me. Later you wonder how she will know what to
do and then you wonder if she will be married to the man she is in
love with. After this htere are more twists and turns and gets even
more intersting. A lot happens ina real short period of time. There
are funny parts and you really have to laugh in the firt part of the
book. Laater you are more serious and wondering what will happen
many times in her life. Some times you might wonder where God is in
her life and why isn't He more of it. By gthe end of the book you
see. He is very much a part of all she does and by the close of the
book you are waiting for the second one to come out.

This novel was out of the ordinary and not the type I usually read.
It's definitely not "safe" Christian fiction...no storybook endings
here. This book touches on real issues that teens face in today's
world
such as suicide, self-mutilation, and self-medication
with honesty and humor. While some aspects of the book are
disturbing, we need to realize that these issues are faced by many
adolescents. This type of book is much needed and was a breath of
fresh air.
